Preparations of the coaches and athletes of RenMa dojo for the 13th Greek National Kendo Championship are reaching their completion. This year’s national championship will take place in the city of Syros between the 10th and 12th of November. This is the first ever event to take place in a Greek island in the entire history of Greek Kendo. Renma would like to thank the Syros Sports and Cultural Kendo Association and would like to wish good luck to all participants.
The 28th European Kendo Championship has kicked off a few minutes ago in Budapest !!!
We would like to wish the members of our national team to be successful in their games and especially in Renma Dojo’s own sensei Nikos Nicolouzos. !!!
The championship will be broadcast live from the European Kendo Federations channel:
RenMa Dojo participated with 8 athletes and won several successes in this year’s 11th Thessaloniki Kendo Cup which was held in Kolindros under the auspices of Atrapos Club. Our athletes participated in men and women categories Dan & Kyu, the team category and the children category (in which we won a medal for the first time in our history).

The results we achieved in the championship have once again vindicated our hard efforts. We had a great time both inside and outside the shiaijo!!!
We would like to thank the Atrapos Club for organizing the event as well as the teachers Paul Budden, Michel Guentleur, Inoue Yoshinori, Kazuyo Matsuda, Alexandar Arabadjiyski, Ferenc Kovacs who came from abroad to teach at the seminar and to referee.
Finally we would to congratulate our three new first Dan’s Lytras Linos,Boumpourakas Hercules and Maroulis Gregory for achieving their first Dan rank.
Congratulations to all our athletes for their participation .It was an unforgettable experience!
We wish you a good autumn, a good and creative new athletic season of 2011 – 2012 to all.
Our association is organizing under the auspices of EOKIN on Sunday, November 13, 2011 a kyu-level cup for the better preparation of athletes and especially the “new generation” of kendoka. The main purpose of the event is to introduce young athletes to kendo matches, giving them the opportunity to get a first taste and learn in practice the basic rules of shiai and the etiquette, and to provide one more athletic chalenge for experienced players. The fee for each athlete is 10 euro and last statement of participation is Wednesday, November 9. As part of the event examinations up to 1st kyu will also be conducted.
We would like to stress that your participation is necessary both in this and any other sporting event. We urge youtherefore to take part and to register your clubs participants early in order for us to be better organized and prepared for the event for the benefit of us all. We would also like to ask you to notify us if you wish to participate in thearbitration of the cup (for the heads of each club only – 1 person per club).

Την Κυριακή 21 Νοεμβρίου ο Σύλλογος μας υπό την αιγίδα της ελληνικής ομοσπονδίας
Ε.Ο.Κ.Ι.Ν διοργάνωσε το 1ο κύπελλο Αθήνας επιπέδου kyu .
Τους αγώνες τίμησε με την παρουσία του ο Πρόεδρος της ελληνικής ομοσπονδίας
κύριος Παπαδημητρίου Ιωάννης sensei (4o dan Kendo ,3o dan Iai do ) αλλά και μέλη
της ελληνικής ομοσπονδίας και της τεχνικής επιτροπής .
Η επιτυχημένη διοργάνωση άφησε ικανοποιημένους τους αθλητές που συμμετείχαν
τον πρόεδρο αλλά και τους επικεφαλής – δασκάλους των συλλόγων.
Ο σύλλογος μας συμμετείχε με 6 αθλητές που για όλους σχεδόν ήταν η πρώτη φορά
που έπαιρναν μέρος σε αγώνες και η εμπειρία που αποκόμισαν ήταν πολύτιμη για το μέλλων.
Θερμές ευχαριστίες στα μέλη του συλλόγου μας για την σημαντική βοήθεια που προσέφεραν και
που δίχως αυτή δεν θα ήταν δυνατόν να διοργανωθεί το κύπελλο αυτό αλλά
και στους επικεφαλής τον συλλόγων που συμμετείχαν στην διαιτησία τον αγώνων .
Να σημειωθεί ότι στο πριν την έναρξη του κυπέλλου διεξήχθησαν εξετάσεις 6-1 kyu από
την τεχνική επιτροπή kendo.
Ελπίζουμε να σας ξαναδούμε την νέα χρονιά στο 2ο Athens Cup 2011.

Με απόλυτη επιτυχία ολοκληρώθηκε η επίσκεψη του KunihideKodasensei(8 Dankyoshi) στην Αθήνα καθώς και το σεμινάριο που διοργάνωσε το RenmaDojoστης 14 & 15 /11 /2009 .
Οι kendokaπου παρευρέθησαν εντυπωσιάστηκαν από τις γνώσεις και τον τρόπο που ο senseiKodaεξηγούσε την κάθε τεχνική και με την απλότητα και την ευκολία που της εκτελούσε.
Τον ευχαριστούμε θερμά για την μεγάλη τιμή που μας έκανε και ελπίζουμε να τον έχουμε κοντά μας και πάλι σύντομα.
Ευχαριστούμε επίσης όλους τους συλλόγους που παρευρέθησαν και υποστήριξαν την εκδήλωση μας . Ελπίζουμε να σας ξαναδούμε όλους αλλά και ακόμα περισσότερους την επομένη φόρα.
